About the Brennan Center for Justice
The Brennan Center for Justice at New York University School of Law is a nonpartisan law and policy institute dedicated to upholding the values of democracy, equal justice, and the rule of law. Founded in 1995 by former law clerks to Justice William J. Brennan, the Brennan Center has become a leading voice in shaping the nation's legal agenda.
